That character survey thing just cuz

It should be noted that much of this is based on Terra as he's played in Dr. Wily's Robot Masters group on Tegaki-E.

Just some background info

This is an OOC post that will provide some canon and fanon background to this Terra account, for those wondering why this Terra is characterized the way he is. First off, game canon information!

Appearance: Rockman World V for the Game Boy.

Serial Number: SRN-001/SDN-001, Space Ruler/Stardroid

Official Character Information: Terra, or Earth (Asu), is the leader of the group known as the Stardroids, alien robots from an ancient civilization that were found and revived by Dr. Wily. Terra is constructed from a durable material not found on Earth, and Mega Man's Mega Buster was completely ineffective. Because of this, Terra defeated Mega Man on their first encounter.

Terra's primary weapon is the Spark Chaser, a laser that can change direction in mid-air to home in on its target. He also fires a rotating energy shot that can freeze his enemies for a few seconds. When his opponent draws near him he'll teleport away. This ability is short-range.

As the Stardroids's leader, Terra is very determined and a bit of a hard-nose. However, he's stricken with a practically obsessive desire to be clean. It's said his tactic of teleporting away when others draw near is due to not wanting to get dirty. Terra is especially proud of his hairdo, and frequently shampoos. Likewise, he detests hats and helmets.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With that out of the way, I'd like to point out that this Terra is my muse from the Tegaki-E group RP, called Dr. Wily's Robot Masters. His basic game background is the same, but beyond that he is pretty much a blank canvas, and below is the direction I've taken with him.

---------------------

Terra is back and repaired from his last fight with Rockman, though it took a good while for him to recover. Since then the events from Rockman 5 up through 10 have occurred, and he finds himself without a purpose, without most of his original memories, and the reprogramming Wily had done still messes with his head. The fact he's amnesiac buffers the effects quite a bit, allowing his systems to very slowly repair the damage.

Because of their loss and the obvious string of victories made by Rockman himself, Terra has decided to play it safe and remain neutral party. He knew if he tried to take over Earth again Rockman would easily defeat them all a second time now that the technology of the Super Arm existed. Also, he absolutely despises Dr. Wily for his meddling and is determined to stay uninvolved in anything the old man cooks up. The other Stardroids have been ordered to keep a low public profile and are not to engage in battle on Earth unless in self-defense.

While Terra plans to regain their original purpose and eventually go back up into space where he believes they belong, circumstances are finding ways to keep him rooted planetside. Despite him saying he doesn't care a whit about Earth, he found himself protecting it twice in the same year. The second time he almost lost his life, after which he found himself in Light Labs fully repaired although his armor was in fragments.

With many of his original memories still locked away, Terra is a shadow of who he once was. Thanks to his experiences and the Stardroid's neutral standing, Terra's been able to experience all the non-militaristic qualities of life, and a faint gentleness has taken its place. Being able to feel some measure of serenity has caused some conflicting notions: part of him wants to stay on Earth, the other part still yearns for the stars. He doesn't want to compromise the two into a happy medium of hanging out in the Sol system with frequent visits to Earth, essentially acting as an extra-terrestrial guardian. He feels uneasy making such a hasty decision when he doesn't fully remember who he was or what he was supposed to do. He was given a clue in a vision, of a lush jungle and a huge curving river snaking through it, an ancient city not far south of it marked with a stylized pink closed eye.

Other notes: For the sake of the games here, I'll be keeping his hair long. His cut hair due to his last major fight will be canon for Robot Masters only.
